Singapore International Jewellery Show 2012 held at Singapore Marina Bay Sands from July 12th to 15th for 4 days. The climate in Singapore at this time of year is very comfortable, I felt cooler than I didi in Japan.The show was different to the typical show we exhibit at as almost all of the guests were local end users.
Therefore, the jewelry show was a lot different compared to other show. Even though the show opened at 11am I was surprised to find the peak viewing time was after 4pm. Furthermore, most guests usually attend a show on the first day, but the peak days in Singapore were Saturday and Sunday. I felt Singapore people were very relaxed.They took their time looking around the exhibition and enjoyed themselves.
This was our first exhibition in Singapore. We found that we did not fully understand the needs of people of Singapore. However, we identified many improvements for the future and the Singapore show will become very fruitful in the future!
